Armadillo Armatures - Day 3

Service Description

The class includes artist lead instruction with live questions and demos. The format will be similar to a live workshop. Students will learn how to create an armadillo armature using wire, foil, and scrap polymer clay. Various design options will be discusses and demoed - including tail, ears, and size variation. After armature completion, students will be instructed on decorating and finishing their sculpture using their own canes. (Pre-retreat classes are available for those who wish to learn the various canes in the handout - see links below) Between demonstrations, Deb will be available for questions and will work on her own demonstration piece while students are allowed to chat among themselves. A 90 page handout is included with the class. NOTE: This is a very time consuming project. Though I will go through all the instruction needed for making the sculpture, be prepared to finish the project on your own time.
