JADE HOLLOW SCULPTED BEADS

Though this class only uses one cane, it's filled with fun design and sculpting potential that you can use in conjunction with my other techniques to expand your polymer clay knowledge.  In this class, I'll show how to create a custom sized hollow bead, create a simple ivory cane and faux jade blend, sculpt simple shapes in jade and/or ivory including a dragon, pagoda, and a tree of life, string a 3 hole hollow bead, and create a simple tassel.  The class can be either one or two days.  In the one day class, we'll concentrate more on the making the bead and the amount of sculpting will depend on class.  In the two day class, we'll do more sculpting and and finishing.  Both classes include the full handout with detailed instructions on all the sculpting and finishing so you can feel confident to have the knowledge to not only finish your pendant at your pace, but repeat the technique without wondering what you've forgotten.
