CANE INLAID ANIMAL SCULPTURES

Millefiori designs on polymer clay animals are beautiful!  In this class I will teach you how to create a polymer clay animal armature from wire and aluminum foil.  We'll create polymer clay canes to decorate our animals and then finish the animal sculpture with faux stone techniques.  The class includes a very detailed pdf handout with large color picture.  In the two day class plan, we'll make the animal and a few basic canes.  In the three day clay plan, we go into some advanced canes, including the detailed southwestern sunburst cane.  Regardless of the duration of the class, the handout includes instruction for 2 basic canes, 1 border cane, a complex feather cane, and the southwestern sunburst cane along with the armature, faux stone, and finishing instructions.
